My passion for activities extends beyond programming and problem-solving. I enjoy physical exercise, as it allows me to keep both my mind and body in optimal shape, so much so that I can't function without it! Additionally, exploring new places through travel is a great source of inspiration and rejuvenation for me. Being able to immerse myself in different cultures and environments broadens my perspective and fuels my creativity. Also spending time in nature allows me to detach from the everyday hustle of the world, and appreciate the natural side of things. Whether it's hiking through lush forests or lounging by serene lakes, nature acts as my personal sanctuary. And, sometimes, I am too caught up in life that I forget to take pictures! My family always pokes fun at me for that. I think personal time is incredibly important and by partaking in healthy activities my work can excel as well!
Professional Experiences
This was an incredible experience for me as it was my first internship at NYU Langone Health. I was fortunate enough to be working with the organ transplant research team, where I had the privilege of contributing to the development of a tool that would greatly enhance the process of determining organ transplant compatibility. It was an exciting and challenging project that allowed me to apply my skills and knowledge in a real-world setting. Working alongside experienced professionals in this field was truly inspiring, and I learned so much from their expertise and dedication. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such important work and to have contributed to improving the lives of countless individuals in need of organ transplants.
During my internship at Vuetech Health Innovations, I had the opportunity to contribute to the development of a fall risk detection system. My main task was to enhance feature extraction using Google MediaPipe computer vision technology. Additionally, I participated in the design phase for a predictive LSTM model that analyzed temporal sequences in patient movement data. To ensure robust data processing and augmentation, I utilized Python and OpenCV, which improved the quality of the features extracted for fall risk prediction. Throughout this experience, I worked closely with cross-functional teams to align the AI solution with the objectives of patient care. Overall, my time at Vuetech Health Innovations was valuable and provided me with hands-on experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning
